With 30 years as a law enforcement officer including almost 20 years as a SWAT Team tactical officer, I've received over 4000 hours of training including almost 2000 hours of tactical training much of it specifically addressing active shooter/assailant events. Once the phenomenon of school shootings began to spread across our country, I felt a responsibility to find a way to share this knowledge. I started working on a way to integrate that information into a civilian based training. And it quickly became clear it could not be limited to the school environment when these events spread to churches, malls, businesses, etc. I started this company with the goal of giving as many people as possible the best chance to survive should they find themselves in the middle of the unthinkable. And I am excited to have included certification as a trainer with the A.L.I.V.E. program!
